They look very old but I&#039;m not sure where there from. They have no locking mechanism and there is no maker marks that I can see. One of them has a sticker taped on it with some writing but I can&#039;t make it out. It looks like it has been there for a whil. Im afraid to remove it. The larger one seems to be made from horn because some of it is transparent. I found 18th century sailors knives that look similar but I&#039;m not sure.
