Might be interesting to see the other pieces as well if they came from the same owner

Great find. At first blush, my goldar went off. It is not uncommon for gold to appear silvery in low quality photos and really depending up lighting. So... I am not going to scoot around just yet trying to find your mark because I wanted to weigh in... I feel like I have seen the marks. The fact it is marked...well...it is easy enough to test.

Regardless, amethyst with "strung" pearls and enamel was a popular art nouveau style. Unusual bracelet, I would NOT be shocked if it were solid 14K gold. If gold, as I suspect, and I had it in stock I would not hesitate to ask 3k for it.... The marks tell you everything, we just need to figure them out. Unfortunately, I am leaving for the mountains again at 3pm and I need to get going. I'll take a quick peak.

Examples for value ideas of what a jeweler would sell something similar for:

:jawdrop: Wow. That would be unbelievable! Thank you for looking in to it.

Please let me know what else I can do to help track these marks down.

I will send pictures of the other jewelry that was in the hatbox when I get back home tonight in case that is helpful. I do think they all belonged to the same person.

Only one has a mark that says sterling. I don't see any marks on the others.

    Two are belts I think?

Sorry for the low quality pictures. I had to take screenshots to get below the file limit.

I suppose? I am not sure geologically how it would be referred to. We bought a 7 acre track at the highest elevation of the ridge we are on. So, it could be considered the peak, but it is part of a ridge line. The blue ridge runs right down the middle of our property which is kind of cool. The property is over in NC near where the Blue Ridge parkway project started. I keep having to run up to meet contractors and get things rolling in prep of our October move.

I was not able to find these specific marks unfortunately. While I play around with jewelry, I am not nearly as educated on the subject like some of the members on the board and tend to forget quickly things I read. So, all options are on the table as to who made it and what materials were used :) I cheat using local resources and my instincts.

For me, I would just take it down to my jeweler and let them look it over. They will have the ability to test the stones (though I do have tools for stones) and the metal. Someone mentioned austro hungarian, and it does offer up the style. I have had a few pieces and they were well marked and easy to track down. The leaf mark looks like a quill to me, but I could go either way, the rooster mark in similar to the very old french gold mark. The initials/letters in the mark may be a province or maker. All of course are speculative observations.

As far as the rest is concerned, The pearl groupings are all things I stay away from. I rarely ever deal in any of it unless it was in a lot that contained other items I wanted. These items would be best suited in a new thread to get some additional input on those. All the other pieces look to be "good quality" items. Maybe someone else more knowledgeable will weigh in on them. From the looks you have two really cool belts that look complete, which would be a nice find if they are antique.

Sounds like good advice. I will bring it to a jeweler this weekend. Thanks!

Great advice, you need to know what that bracelet is made from, be cautious on offers if made

As mentioned by George, the other pieces are definitely worthy of a new thread, as they are interesting pieces, and have value
