Pendant help

    I will be back to look at this again in the morning, now it just looks like white cats-eye glass to me too. I am still unsure as to what uelexite is - if it is a glass, a plastic or a metal lol, I didn't have time to check. I still like this one best.

    It's all costume, if anyone's wondering. The glass pendant looks like fiber optic rather than strictly catseye.

    I think the material some posters are referring to can be called fiber optic glass, though it has other names also; it is the same material used in the thread-like fiber optics, but in larger chunks; it is often used for jewelry. It produces a single-line cat's-eye type of internal reflection, and looks much like moonstone.
    I'm sure many of the joolies are familiar with it under one name or another.
    (Ulexite is a natural mineral having similar optical properties)

    I'd probably knot it onto some fine leather cord and leave it at that. One of those ribbon "chain" things might work too.
