    Just received the pearls:happy:
Seller's pics showed what seemed to be perfume yellowing... NO:joyful:
    My pic as received:

While rubbing with a soft deer skin after cleaning, the thread broke:facepalm: but that allowed me to take a pic of the hole:joyful:
The white metal rub of the hidden clasp stay on the testing slab with the 10k testing acid and disappear with 14 and 18k.
Other pics on white background and skin in northern light:

    VERDICT:
Champagne natural color, good luster and shape, size ranging from 5.4mm to 8.4mm. 10k white gold clasp.

My :cyclops: and hunting skills are still not so bad;):joyful:

PS: not having the appropriate stuff (nor the patience!) for rethreading this very long guy, I sewn together two knots and fix with a tiny drop of superglue, to be able to carefully enjoy it in wait of getting a professional for fixing it:oops:

Sure! I pulled each pearl to check the thread, still don't know why it broke when all length is still strong:bucktooth:

They do look like ivory colored akoyas!
And I think you should do the restringing.
I have done it myself, many times. There is a learning curve, but it is really easy. Tedious, but worth the time. I wouldn't trust the super glue.
Think of the money you will save!

I know... Made that on shorter rows, but I don't have the right size of French bullion nor long enough Griffin silk thread:sorry:
