I just couldn't for was so disappointed to see he was a relatively short man. He was hardly taller than my brother and shorter than my father. What a disillusionment it was to see him in person. It just about killed my interest in cowboy movies. Speaking of Roy Rogers, I think I heard the following Roy Roger's joke on Johnny Carson. Some guest was telling taxidermy jokes.
