Nail heads securing planks to top appear irregular, possibly hand wrought? Remnants of brown and blue (possibly two shades of blue, applied at different times, or the same paint in different states of distress) paint. Does the distress to the paint work appear contrived, potentially, as if taken back artificially, at least in places? Door construction looks to be pegged. Knobs appear to be recited from around 6-8 inches above their current location. There’s a spot directly above the place where the doors meet that suggests that the door clasp might have been moved a couple of inches to the right at some point. I know this is a combination of colours often sometimes seen in Georgian furniture. Might it be 1800-1820?

Thanks in advance.[/QUOTE]
