Featured Original Galle Vase or repro

Definitely a reproduction. Quality is not there, bottom is wrong, and the G looks like a Y in the signature. so...... a genuine Yalle'.

 

I too say...repro and not a good one at that.

 

Maybe take a picture from a further distance. These are all Close shots albeit Medium Full but too close, try get a Full wide shot.

 

In the photo you showed, yes, it is ground flat on the very top. No, it's not got the top completely ground off, but it's a new "Galle" vase. It's not got the finesse of a true original, apologies to @Mario if I shocked you.

I'm sure you can sell it anyway.

 

Here is the picture Francisco asked me to post, what catches my eye is the way the mountain range is more worked than the trees in the forefront, also the sig is in the dark outer layer, if you don't know its there you'll overlook it. Wouldn't fakers make the sig stand out to further make it saleable and not hide make it hard to see.
