    True, they set them better in past times. These are as secure as precious stones would be.

    @Ownedbybear , what's the piece with the "1" inside ? Having spent far too much time in the Philippines since 2002, it reminds me of a Japanese 1 Centavo note from WWII.

    It's a common charm from the 50s and 60s. That's a one pound note rolle up inside it: you also got ten shilling note ones, too. Supposedly for emergencies!
