The bottle necks are suppose to stick out so you can turn the bottles.

Yes, if there is open wine rack - no problems with necks, but if rack with door - the door should be closed, but I even can't close my door, because metal parts on the door hit the necks of bottles behind these parts and push bottles to the wall and other bottles stay with necks out thru the spaces in the door. Well.... if it is not for special and / or old bottles - there is only one explanation, that some idiot who not only doesn't drink, but also never ever saw wine bottle in his / her life could do this "wine rack". :hilarious::hilarious::hilarious::hilarious::hilarious::hilarious:

How about fitting expanded metal into it to make it a bird cage?

    mmmmmmmm.....
    Those that make that sound.
I used to spend some summers on the GGP's farm in th Cartskills and while in the Navy in Fallon, NV I worked at a ranch doing 'ranchy' type stuff..... I was dealing with cattle and such.

The chickens seemed to make that sound more when content as well as when settling down for the night.
