I have seen similar &#039;raised&#039; ringfaces on Spanish rings from the 1950s and 60s. They had more elegant ringbands though.</p><p><br /></p><p>The coral is Mediterranean red coral, not orange. Official name Corallum Rubrum, which simply means red coral. I suspect it was sourced from Spanish coral banks.</p><p>The colour is more salmon, but is still considered Mediterranean red.
