I don't buy many bottles, but I really liked this one. Searched a couple of websites including Society for Historical Archaeology but didn't find this particular shape. The neck has 2 mold seams which do not go to the lip, but I believe it is because a tool was used and the mold seam was worked away. Down the body sides the seam runs just to the beginning of the foot and stops. It has some large air bubbles, one in particular is very large in the shape of a tear drop with smaller ones throughout. I am guessing it is a flask type with the closest I could see were the ones called Calabash. Any help in dating and identifying the type would be appreciated.

Measures 8 3/8"h x 4 3/4"w at the widest x 1 3/8" top .. with the base measuring 2 1/2" x 2 1/4".

Thanks,

Eddie
