Featured Oil Painting....Artist Signature I.D.Help??

Artist is Lohmann born in 1901 Munich, Germany. Studied in Florence before returning to Berlin.


I will say it looks like my signature is in print and in the original post is in cursive. When I saw the original post I thought L_hmann in the signature and made the connection. Hopefully I didn’t waste anyone’s time.

 

First name? Sample of work? Sample of signature?

I put the picture in my original post. I don’t have a first name. The painting hadn’t been moved in about 35 years until 7 months ago. There was a card on the back. I can’t find any other information about this artist.

 

Thank you, Jenna. I think these ballroom scenes may be decorative paintings. The first painting is attributed to Ludwig Gschossmann; the second to Christain Jereczek.

I’m glad to know that I’ll be able to have something similar to the one my family has. I will try to see if I can find a picture that makes out the signature and will add it to my original post.
