I was in the same room with a lit doobie once. Couldn't get out of there quickly enough. I"m more your double espresso kinda gal.

 

I saw The Byrds in Mar/Apr 1967 round the time of my birthday.Here's a concert tape done at the same venue,6 mos later.

 

From the same era and milieu: The Allman Bros Live at Fillmore East is in my opinion the best album ever. I have loved it for 40 years.

 

That albums a masterpiece & of course Duane Allman and Butch Trucks were still with Us-produced by the great Tom Dowd.
PS-That cover's a great portrait of a rock band,grabs the era.

 

My daughter moved to Atlanta in 1992. She and her friends were in a club one night and there was a really bad lounge pianist. They were about to leave when a guy went up and asked if he could take over. It was Gregg Allman. Needless to say, they didn't leave. She was the only one of her friends who knew who he was because she grew up with us playing his albums.

 

Well, that'd be amazing!

 

I wouldn't have left either. WOW.

 

A couple of my girlfriends and I (as groupies!) got invited back into the dressing room of KISS, 1976 or so. I was 17.

Nothing happened, lol.

That's the only story I got.

 

what goes on in the KISS dressing room.....stays in the Kiss dressing room !!!!
