Hello, Antiquers! New here, first post. I can't seem to stop bringing home Textiles, Needle Arts, and Clothing that I find in thrift shops! I always think I'll work one of those unfinished needlepoint pieces on my own, but the screens are just stacking up in a closet. These are three that I especially like... but I'm unable to tell their ages. The woman with dog (I love her subtly blushed cheeks)has damage to one corner, but is otherwise intact. Approx 16" x 20". The medieval shepherdess (she has a bit of a blush, too) is excellent condition, which makes me wonder if it's contemporary? Approx 14" x 20". The griffons pillow has decay (looks like moth damage, to me) and the needlework has batting stitched to the reverse side that's intended to give defined dimension to the imagery. Perhaps at one time is was effective - now, notsomuch. It's the only pillow that has a zipper (metal) for access. Approx 20" x 22". I see that image size limits are limited... not sure how clear these will be. Thanks in advance for any input! __________________________________________________
