need help with watercolor painting

It could be but couldn't find any artist under that name. I wish I knew who this artist is. I'm still trying to figure out the signature. Very frustrating for sure!

 

Think about where you are geographically. Might there be a listing of regional or state artists you could consult? Also, think about the possibility that this may have been a foreign artist and the painting may be from another country. Are we looking at a farm in New England or one in Europe? Perhaps you could write down as many possible variations of that last name as possible and then start Googling. For instance, does that last name start with a T or a J? Lots of possibilities. The frame looks pretty old. Does the matting look out of place? It looks more recent. I absolutely love this kind of puzzle. My guess is it can be solved.

Yes very true and I can search and try to find someone who I can consult. It could be a foreign artist cause the homes look like they could be from another country from painting. I'll give that try for sure and it looks like it could be either T or a J when I zoom up cause it kind of fools your eye. The matting is old but looks new in the pic cause I didn't zoom up on it that well. Almost had a wood look. I like doing this stuff but the suspense is killing me! Haha I appreciate all your guys help though and I'll get back to you if I find any more information on it.
