Need help with this vase mark. Holland

For several years now I have used a bookmark I created myself for translating pages into English. For the life of me I can't remember where I found the instructions of creating the bookmark. Anyways, when on a foreign language web page, I click the link and it automatically translates the page into English. The bookmark code is several lines. If I copy it into this message some of the code may take a different form, but try anyways.

I have this bookmark on my "Bookmarks Toolbar." To create a bookmark in Foxfire
1. Click the "Bookmarks" icon.
2. Click "Show all Bookmarks"
3. Right mouse click "Bookmarks Toolbar" (or wherever you want it placed) and select "New Bookmark."
4. Fill in the following:
Name: English
Location: Copy / Paste the above code.
5. Click the "Add" button

Voila! There it is. It is much easier to find a specific bookmark on the "Bookmarks Toolbar" because that toolbar is located at the top or near the top of a Foxfire window. No doubt one will find other ways to create a language translating bookmark on the web.

It's not my go to either, but if run across a foreign language page I want to read, I pull it up. You can also go to Google, click on the group of boxes in the upper right hand corner, select translate, then paste the address of the webpage into the "translate from box", but for some reason it just seems easier & faster to pull up Chrome and paste the addy in the top line.

BTW, the translation is done by a computer, so it is a literal word for word translation vs someone reading the page and rewriting it in English. Words aren't always in the order we are use to seeing them, but you can usually get the gest of the article.

 

Thanks guys. There have been so many sites over the years that I wanted to look at that were in different languages. This will open up a whole new world of research options for me. This may be dangerous...

 

Wow, so excited you guys gave me the tips on the chrome translation. Thanks to all. And I have identified my vase as Leen Muller.
