Did I do wrong reposting that image?

It's his image - I suppose he can do whatever he wants with it...

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

Yep, I know that only a mod can delete the thread, but didn't realize that it took more than the request of the OP to do it. That's why I said the OP could have it deleted.

As someone who hadn't seen the thread before now, NO, you did nothing wrong.

The thread is useless without the pic and the people who answer questions here should get a little sumpthin' sumpthin' for their time.

The pics/opportunity to learn something new are the little "sumpthin' sumpthin'".

Just seems odd, why bother deleting the pictures?

The only reason I could think, if sellers don’t want potential buyers to stumble onto the thread. But maybe something else?

Over the years I remember a few occasions when someone did not want to post pictures (or get particularly specific in description) because they were afraid that a valuable item findable online would not be "fresh to the market" and a potential auction of said item would be ruined. Maybe that's why?

Given how quickly Google and other "robots" pick up text and pictures here, I don't know whether deleting the pictures is really useful.

He did the same thing a couple weeks ago - posted a thread, got a couple replies, said he had found the artist and deleted both the pictures and the text of the OP. I'm not sure how long the "edit button" exists here, just know that it doesn't last forever, so there are other threads of his that he cannot do this to.

Some auction houses will refuse to take pieces that already appeared on the internet even if it wasn't for sale.

If that's the case here....posting on the Discussion Forum does not get picked up by Bots...............or......don't post those particular items !

    Hi Phaik,
So are mine. The only ones that do not show up where ones posted on the discussion board as Komokwa has noted many times.
