Featured Need help identifying this silver card holder

    13cm x 8cm with a thickness of 1cm......
    a row of smokes would fit nice and snug....not needing the strap.

    If it's a card case...when you open it up the cards would fly all over the place..
    but...ok...it could be used for cards too....I guess.

    Russian at the tzar era doesn't write in cyrillic for monograms, don't forget that french was common language for russian nobility.
    But looking at how the case is made, especially the lid, it's not russian, or made in the communist era which i don't know so well but under russian imperial time the lips of the cases were always made in the same manner to align the two parts.
    This is made like german silversmiths works and in the 30's design machined in line guilloché.
