Need help identifying ?? possibly a relic ??

where features of the face are quite flat and worn, to be fair none of the photos have really given a clear shot of the face/head. Having said that, looking at it again this morning, with a nice bright, natural lighting, I was able to capture a much clearer photo of the face and I have to agree, he no longer looks Chinese to me either (I think it was the eyes that looked Chinese ) Hmmm,,,Any ideas??

 

Possibly. Trying to break down the key features in order to identify. Firstly, I think it’s fair to assume it’s some kind of ‘warrior’ or ‘soldier’. The fact that the weapon appears to be some type of Staff kind of steers me away from Romans. He is wearing a cloak and of course has a shield. I’ve been searching include the above as keywords but haven’t found anything yet!?

Yes I’m also thinking Greek. Also since discovered the weapon to the left is actually an axe, with the head of the axe facing downwards.
