<p>[QUOTE=&quot;komokwa, post: 63287, member: 301&quot;]Kasper.....Greg......there are things out there we just don&#039;t understand ....although some claim they do.</p><p><br /></p><p>Long story short......I have an african mask.</p><p>It led me to it&#039;s hiding place ( it was really hidden from sight..) in an antique store.....where I had to buy it.</p><p>After years of it sitting on my shelf in the back room of my gallery, I placed it in a box , where years later other boxes, papers and files had piled up on top of it was virtually out of sight. </p><p>It didn&#039;t like that !</p><p>One day a couple of odd folks walked in the gallery , sat down at my desk and we were chatting.</p><p>All of a sudden , both became highly agitated &amp; were insistent on locating the object that they say was giving off strong vibrations and energy that was causing them distress.</p><p>We were sitting in a fully stocked Indian art gallery &amp; I was curious as to which native mask or carving could be freaking these folks out !!</p><p>They said &quot; no, not here , it was in the back room &quot; ........Huh ?</p><p>OK, I had some choice items there , so I invited them in.</p><p>They went straight to a pile of boxes &amp; papers , started shaking , &amp; said that&#039;s where the vibrations were coming from.</p><p>There was no other art work there, just storage stuff , but they homed in on one box .......&amp; then I remembered what was in it !!</p><p><br /></p><p>I dug it out from the pile, &amp; opened it up to reveal that African mask. </p><p>That&#039;s when the both of them went wide eyed scared, started ranting at each other &amp; bolted out the back, thru the gallery &amp; out the front door ....never looking backwards !</p><p>I never saw them again.......took the mask out of the box and placed it carefully back on a shelf.....with a nice view of it&#039;s surroundings.</p><p><br /></p><p>Now it sits on a shelf , surrounded by african items, 8 feet away from where I&#039;m sitting.</p><p>I suppose it&#039;s content ![/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
