Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

Wow, Kaspers -- what an interesting and tragic story. And that it might have been due to some kind of food poisoning is just so sad -- even more sad than if it was some childhood disease, because it is just so much more avoidable.

And it's also so nice that a photo of such a small child has been kept in your family for all of these years. You have just done research that brings to light more about his life, and so that information may not be lost.

It's pretty early in the morning for me, so I had to diagram the relationship. The little boys were your first cousins twice removed -- first cousins to your grandparent who was child of that great-grandfather.

SO happy you took that back off!!!! :)
You were meant to be the person that would bring them back to the light, learn about them and understand.
Perhaps there will be quiet now. :)

(((Robin))) I'm so glad you got brave enough to pull the backing and that it lead you to the information.

Infant mortality was so much more common then than it is today, but so said that both little ones died so close together. Could have been disease. I found a gravestone for the family plot of some cousins on my maternal grandfather's side which revealed that one couple lost 3 children within a week. :(

Perhaps with the story and confirmation of the close connection your husband will relent and allow it to be hung somewhere else in the house?

Yes indeed Kasper, this is just the thing that could calm a babies soul who's been looking to be reuntited with his family.

Whatever the case it seems to have helped you, & that's a good thing.

    Good on you girl !!!
