Featured My Chihuly?

They are somewhat similar but I don't see a match.

 

I have seen 2 - there is a small installation at the Palm Springs airport - mostly beautiful vessels in cube showcases - the shell and amoeba type bowls - and there are a few monster size hanging ones in the hotel on Paradise Island in the Bahamas

 

Bumping this up for some fresh eyes. Came upon the bright idea to shoot the signature back-lit. Think it came out much better.

Having looked at a few more Ryno Glass bowls by Bob Rynearson, I'm starting to think it might be his. (Someone else may think differently.)

I am tending to agree. Here is the signature on mine as compared to the one in the ebay link. While not identical, I think there are enough similarities to make an attribution. I also think the use of an unpolished bottom on the pieces is telling.

 

I think Ryno as well. It's more similar to that than it is to Chihuly. Dale didn't have a first name on any of his pieces that I could find - just the last name.

Bob Rynearson is involved with the Salado Glassworks studio. He was the teacher and is now the mentor for some of the people who started it.
