Bought myself a very powerful magnet and tied it to rope and the very first throw off a dock at a local lake retrieved this ax head. Couldn't believe it! Cleaned it up a bit and hung it on a new hickory handle and then steam bent the handle to make it like a true hewing ax handle would be. Really proud of that piece!</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p>Here is where the wood came from.
