Featured Metal Detecting Lot:The Ancient?

    Those look like typical park finds. More comfortable with 19th-20th c pendant now. The patina had me fooled as it looks very much like a Roman ring I’ve got.

    Lol, I’ve led you astray!. Some of them go for lots of money and it all just looks like scrap to me :confused:. They probably think that about our jewellery :hilarious:

    The patina is totally different to all the other pieces, it almost feels like bronze and hasn’t corroded in the same way as the other pieces. I had also put it on a metal detecting FB page and after a bit of discussion they came to the same conclusion of 1850-1890.
    It’s been an interesting journey -Thankyou for your help :)
