The Poster's 33 1/2" by 2'2".Here's a few close-ups,this old chaps got some mileage on him.Found in Yakima/Toppenish Washington 31 yrs ago.The First Nations people there are famous for their (corn-silk ?) woven bags. The 'Horse Heaven Hills' and The Palouse. Much of it would still look familiar to Louis & Clark. My ancient Pal is part Amerindian and He had permission to hike the Tribal Lands. He's the guy who found this piece in a local junktique store. He also gave Us a 1940's Coke Machine he found in the abandoned drive-in abt a mile from His house !
    PS-Very thick pigment-like automotive paint/lacquer. weed1.jpg weed2.jpg weeds 3.jpg

Brings up memories of high school days in the mid '70s - Reefer Madness and Fritz the Cat double-billed at our local drive-in, cooler full of cheap Pearl beer (Coors not yet available in Florida), cigarette and pot smoke heavy in the air...

Cheryl-You're singing the song of My youth Cheryl ! 'Fritz the Cat',I think (hope) Robert Crumb's still alive.
Mr. Crumb was so broke in the late '60s that He ran a pub announcement on KMPX or KSAN (pioneer Underground FM Radio),offering to sell His entire portfolio for 25K .
Good Lord-I do beleive He's in the permanent collection of the Louvre now.Still 25 grand was a king's ransom back then (still is actually when I review my Medicare Bills).
Now of course 1 of His notebooks could be worth that or more.

    R. Crumb...still with us.
I had a friend who was going to college near San Francisco in the late 60's. In the late 1980's he let me borrow his collection of Crumb's Zap Comix. A very trippy read. Pretty valuable now.

One would think! Probably not a bad way to reduce stress-related hypertension. Would work a treat for "white coat" hypertension, although you'd have to wait a long time to drive home. Might be worth it!
