It looks like the glass has been blown right inside of the metal part as it bulges out on the sides in the heart shape and is one piece. It stand 8cm (3 1/4') high and 13cm (5 1/4") across the top. I am not sure what the metal is but I have tested it and it is not silver.   The glass itself is approx. 1/2cm (1/4") thick and formed very tightly to the metal. I am looking for help to discover where it might have been made, by whom and for what use.   I did shine it up a bit.  Not sure if that was a good idea but I did.    Thanks for any help you can give me or direction to research it.    Oh yes also how old you think it may be.[/QUOTE]
