Hi everyone, I've had this coral necklace for 6 years trying to decide what to do with it. I thought I would restring it but I haven't gotten to it. The clasp is nicely made, I tested it and it is 14k. Why anyone would need a clasp on this long a necklace is anyone's guess. I was also thinking I could restring it without a clasp and use the clasp on another coral necklace I want to restring. Or I'm wondering now if I should sell it as is for repair.

I bought it from a family selling their sister's, mother's, grandmother's and great grand mother's jewelry that had been passed down over many generations and just ignored. I can't tell you how much fun I had sitting their for days sorting through all the jools, my idea of Heaven

Anyway, this is very long and I am wondering how old it is. My thought is it may be from the 1920s, flapper length. Opened up it is about 54" (137 CM).
