I do appreciate your Worthopoint info. But skeptical me would have to see some evidence those on Worthpoint above are Lefton (besides a sellers description of them). I did not see any in my admittedly limited view of that Worthpoint page despite the listing's mention of marked as shown (I can see no marks). I see them on ebay also - Lefton by seller description only (no marks). I do not see them in the catalogues either although I did a far from exhaustive search of my catalogue collection (which would take many days). I also keep a spreadsheet of all Lefton (marked) items I have seen but are not in the catalogues - that list amounts to 40 some items compared to my catalogue list of over 39,000 items. These are not in that list either - but I will of course add them with proper evidence (seen with a mark or label). The high foreheads exhibited in those are not typical for Lefton figurines - more typical for Ucagco. But of course in the world of 1950s MIJ (Made in Japan) figurines where the various importers copied other's items almost anything is possible. Not to mention the Japanese manufacturers selling the "same" thing to different US importers (like Lefton and Ucagco).
