From the reseller's treasurers are these two glass pieces - a vase and a ewer (?) or small pitcher. They are obviously hand blown, because they both have polished pontil scars. Unlike the small, more rounded, hobnails that I am more familiar with, these are larger and more pointed. I am wondering if they are an older style or maybe they are just a variation. I would appreciate some thoughts about this. It has been useless to search for large hobnails as Google just dumps thousands of Fenton pieces. I believe they are from the same time period, if not the same source. They are close to the same height at around 7 1/2 inches. Does anyone know anything about these?
