Hi I know about the backwards Lane serial number thing...and about the plant number. I have a Lane Rhythm dining room table with 2 leaves. All 3 pieces have the same serial number on them. It is 560112 . The chairs that came with it have 560250 for May 20, 1965. I also have a hutch from the same source that has 567021 for Dec 7, 1965. The serial number on the table and leaves makes no sense. The only way I can reconcile it is that it was supposed to be 560121 for Dec 10, 1965 and someone just screwed it up.... three times. Has anyone ever seen a Lane serial number that just makes no sense? This is stamped in black ink underneath the dining table, not embossed into the wood. Did they have some kind of stamp that they just re-used all day to mark these? That could explain how 3 pieces have a totally illogical number. Thanks!
