LOL! Well whether he wants it or not it will most likely be going to auction. He just likes the story. When I pulled it out of the box and read the spine he came running over.

Now I will tell you that this same lady said she has a very nice, very old, leather bound Jules Verne. She wrapped it in a cloth and stored it somewhere. She needed to work her way back to it but she plans to add it to the bunch. I don't know if it is around the world in 80 days but I will definitely keep you posted if it comes up. She is a book worm unlike I have ever seen. She must have thousands.

There is one here. It isn't navy per say but it's called The Haunted Hanger by Van Powell It actually has the dust cover still on it. The printing of this one was 1932. I need to get some photos of these guys cause some of them are pretty neat looking. The Van Powell has a picture of two men fighting? on a little dingy boat with a old war plan in the back. It is kind of hard to describe. I will get some pictures of these and post them later. There may be something good in here after all.

This box has tons of Zane Grey, Carolyn Keene, a couple of Alexandre Dumas one that I am a little fond of cause it's about a dog. It's called Dusty by Hinkle dated 1940. It has a nice wolfhound looking dog illustrated on the inside of the cover.
