The gold does look like Alaskan nuggets..... I do think it is ivory, but there are many types of ivory. I am not seeing the crosshatching or lines that I would see in elephant ivory..... perhaps it is an Alaskan animal's ivory? Congratulations!!!!

 

I'm NW of Boston, almost to the NH border. I'd love to live on the Cape!
