Is this steel adjustable chair military????

    I bet it was originally that green color on the legs.

    RE old wooden ironing boards -- I have one and it is wonderful for pulling a chair up to and working on small projects (writing letters, gluing/repairing something small, little sewing tasks, polishing silver, etc.). ;)

    One other helpful(?) hint -- whenever I do a "repair" which requires small/tiny parts, I always spread out an old white sheet under the ironing board and the chair I am sitting in. It's not only easier to see a small part on a white sheet, but the sheet itself seems to keep little items from bouncing/rolling off into oblivion (read dust bunnies :eek: ).

    Messilane, don't you dare spill the beans about the other place I like to do small tasks on a TV tray with a lip on it and a ready source of water. :hilarious:
