Ha Ha! She gets bad headaches like me. That is what I look like all the time as I clutch my head with my daily migraines.

It is in good shape with slight wear around the top of her head where there is a veil, the edges of her fingers/hands and the edges of the basket that holds the ivy. It looks slightly weathered, but is in great condition.

@antidiem Is your thumbnail of Godzilla? When I was a kid sometime in the late 70's, early 80's, I used to have a Japanese Shogun Warriors Godzilla toy that looked like that. I remember his fist used to come off and shoot across the room like a missile. Those were the good old days and they don't make toys like that anymore.

Oh Gosh, I have so many things to say about this posting!
First, the marble bust is awesome. You have a good eye.
And the rock story is epic!
The dolls are fabulous and the hair jewelry one is wearing(and behind them, too) is drool-worthy!

I don't think this grave related - just a carving of a sleepy girl

If you find it, please post pics of the doll here including the marks, preferably without the clothes. I would love to see close-ups of the face, the body, and back of the shoulder area as these pics would help me figure out 100% if it is a real antique or kit doll. I have been collecting antique German and French bisque and German china head dolls for 20 years and would love to help you.

Is it actually a veil? Does it trail down at all? Or is it more of a head wrap?

Thanks! I didn't think anyone would notice the antique Victorian era plaited sentimental hair jewelry. I was afraid you guys would think that was creepy. I have at least 30 of these beautiful pieces in my collection and am fascinated by them all.

The rock story was crazy right? I can't believe how horrible FedEx is. Believe it or not I had 3 more issues of misdeliveries with FedEx after this happened. Whenever I buy something on Ebay and the seller uses FedEx, I cringe and worry about never receiving my item.

By accident I wrote that it was a veil. You are right. It is a head wrap.
