For 500 records, mostly classical music and original classic rock from 60s and 70s, I'll get about $5 total.</p><p><br /></p><p>They also took an item that wasn't supposed to be included in the sale, but never sent me an inventory until the day before the sale was to go live. When I mentioned that item want for sale and asked them to hold it back but I would pay for the shipping to return it to me, they refused to hold it back. (A set of drinking glasses that were my grandfather's). The glasses went live for sale the next day, and they told me if I wanted them I should bid on them myself and win the auction. </p><p><br /></p><p>I'll end up spending more to buy my own Damn glasses back than on the whole rest of the sale because somehow they're the highest priced item right now. Magically.</p><p><br /></p><p>Many incorrect descriptions and listings posted with only some of the parts (the base of a table is listed as a heavy "book stand", but the marble table top is missing, with no listing. We noticed them a day ago and still no correction, same with other pieces.</p><p><br /></p><p>Because their contract says you can't have anything back on once they take it for sale, even if it doesn't sell, it's actually in their best interests to mess up the sale when it ends, and then keep the items for themselves. I am also seeing, by looking at other sales with a critical eye), that since there's no reserve on anything, people are just bidding $1 on all of it so it "sells", but no real money goes to the estate owner. Each piece is worth a few dollars and in some cases tens to a hundred dollars or more... But all hundred something pieces in the sets are being sold in one lot for each set--for pennies.
