Yes, well, selling this for someone else so less "MY" (unfortunately) but I do want to be sure I price correctly, and I will get a nice commission on the total sale, so a little "my" which is nice. A huge thank you to Quirkygirl for looking that up and sharing it. It is a critical piece of information and it is way higher than I was thinking.

I might write the Etsy person --seems like they focus exclusively on vintage Sweden, even located in Sweden. They claimed theirs was 1930's. It seemed more modernist to my eye, but again I don't know what was coming out of Sweden during those years. They might have ideas about this one, would probably enjoy seeing it in any case.

Thanks, everyone! I'll post back if there is additional info.

This is a follow-up, I did contact the Etsy seller based in Sweden who enjoyed seeing photos, loved it, and called this "hand wrought Swedish iron".

I asked them about selling price of their similar piece, turns out the Flipper tool price was off (by a decimal point). Seller said they sold their candelabra for $250. Not sure why the flipper-tool had it so much higher, but good to know.

This isn't even my piece, nor do I sell for others as a rule, so it doesn't matter either way what the value is. Also, crazy as it sounds, its kind of a relief it isn't worth $2K. (Would not be saying that if it was MY piece - but this is kind of a favor to the neighbor, not really a commission situation so much.) Also I knew enough to reserve announcing any potential value to the former owner. That time will come when the auction closes. As far as they know, value is almost nothing. My neighbors were going to donate this, and last minute just asked if I wanted to Ebay it, so any cash that comes in is a bonus.

Thanks for everyone :):):)who took a look and will keep you posted.
