He works mostly in oils on canvas or board. His work includes landscapes, commissioned portraits as well as book jackets. Bruce first exhibited at Bridgwater Arts Centre in 1972. Since then work has been exhibited in: Orion Gallery, Newlyn; Brewhouse Gallery, Taunton; Meeting House Gallery, Ilminster, Pavement Gallery, London; Barbican Gallery, Plymouth. Many of Bruce�s paintings are currently held in private collections in Holland, France, Spain, the Far East and the USA, as well as across the UK. To see a range of paintings from 1968 to the present day just visit the website.
