Good Day, was wondering if I might get some expert insights regarding this clock I recently purchased from a pawn shop in West VA. The clock is 34 inches (tall) and 16 inches (wide). Not sure of the kind of wood, but there are two small painted scenes: one appears to show a city with the words "View in Austria" and the other appears to show the "Grand Canyon" (NO idea the correlation). The inside once had an ad for the maker, but unfortunately that part of the paper add has been ripped away and all that is left is a heraldic eagle and the words, "Patent Eight Day Brass Clock". I searched and searched online and found similar clocks listed as, "TRIPLE DECKER SHELF CLOCK", but I haven't been able to match the clock face, front of the case pics, nor the inside ad. Any info as to maker and timeframe would be Greatly Appreciated!! THANKS in ADVANCE!!!
