I purchased this wood bowl at thrift store

It's possible the bowl was originally sold plain, then decorated by someone else. I have one like that, bought at a crafts show. Artisan was a painter, not a wood turner. Yours looks like it may be the same (salad bowl) size? Also think it is just an abstract design in colors that bring NA art to mind.

 

And welcome. BTW, it seems every new member who uses their phone to take photos has the same problem with their first post; you have lots of company on that score.
