Hi Greg, my mailbox is not a PO box. That's the way they are set up in our neighborhood. There is roughly 15 addresses at each box set up on the street (mine is about 2 houses down from me). All our mail goes there, and if we have a larger package, they put a key in our box to open a larger locker on the side of it, that then keeps the key after it's used. I wish I had a mailbox in front of my house, so I didn't have to purchase a key, if/when I lose mine. and by the way, I still have not found mine.
$225. is SO much money for a po box! I had no idea they cost that much.

 

Could always be worse.....it could scare folks away from your house........

 

Greg, that's a crazy high amount for a PO box. I pay much less than that. Is it possible it was for the largest size box they have available and small ones would be less?

Probably since there is a long wait time for the smaller boxes.

If the wait time is that long, you'd think they'd find a way to add more boxes and make more money off them.

 

before I retired from ford they use to put those over the gear shifters and take them off on the end I worked. I saved them for several months and had bags of those huge yellow trash bags full of them, got great feedback for packing and things fall out less easy and makes things easy to pack. It really pissed one guy off, not sure why...they were going in the trash...
