    The colour is often called celadon, just like celadon porcelain.
    It is named after Céladon, a character in a French pastoral play which was popular when the first Chinese celadon porcelain came to Europe, in the 17th century. Céladon wore a costume of that very pale green colour.

    Hi greg. It is a beautiful name I think, and moonlight would go well with the image it conjures up.
