How would I describe these when researching them?

    @Mr_uddr as a fellow Brit, I had, still have, two of those chest of draws from the 1950's. The wood isn't as good as yours sounds, and they were 'Utiity Furniture'.

    I don't think so, they appear quite rounded and almost hand carved
