[QUOTE="LoveTheHunt!, post: 7915350, member: 8191"]I bought this silver necklace years ago, intending to resell it, but set it aside because it needed cleaning, which looked like it would be a rather tedious job. (It was!) I finally got a "round tuit" (it's not perfectly detailed, but much improved), so now I need to learn the proper terminology to describe it. Not being any kind of jewelry expert, the best I can come up with is "bib" - but perhaps there is a better way to describe this style, with its graduated "fingers" or "fins". By the way, I noticed that the necklace is actually strung on a fine (but strong enough) silver cable, which I take as a sign of better workmanship. The clasp is marked "MEXICO 925" and "MC HECHO EN MEXICO", along with an EAGLE (3?) stamp.
