Almost all of the things for sale were not high ticket items, but there were a lot of them!</p><p><br /></p><p>As it was, I think the tag sale folks spent almost as much time trying to puzzle box all the family photos, documents, and memorabilia they found into the little space I had reserved for the not-for-sale stuff. Bless them, they set aside stuff they probably could have sold at a decent price because they knew I’d want them - and I’d thought they would have been destroyed by flooding where I thought they were, so I hadn’t even bothered to tell them to look for the Civil War related stuff.</p><p><br /></p><p>The sheer quantity of photographs they salvaged is stunning.&nbsp; It will take weeks to sort through once we unpack at the other end.</p><p><br /></p><p>Here’s a sample of the stuff we’re keeping. More pictures to come, I promise!</p><p><br /></p><p>P.S. the little cuties on the Christmas card are my Dad (81) and my Uncle David. The license plate belonged to&nbsp; my paternal Grandmother Zita (Drinkwater) Tobin.
