Marks on the base are hard to read - initials NC and something, then a mark that I have no idea what it is, Letter F and then it looks like word Silver. I thought maybe I could figure out the makers mark but not finding anything</p><p>engraved on the side with his name and&nbsp; K.O.Y.L.I. (King&#039;s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry). I can find information on him, discharged in 1963.
