I have a quick question. You said that you can ship anything using ShipBike. I looked on their website and cannot find anything in their TOS that says we are allowed to ship other things besides bikes. Are you sure this is true? Just for the heck of it, I found another website that ships bikes for cheap, and it seems similar to the ShipBikes website. I don't know if it is owned by the same company. It does the same things as ShipBikes, and is called BikeFlights. In their terms of service it said the following which scared me:

https://www.bikeflights.com/termsofservice

"USE OF OUR SERVICES IS ONLY FOR SHIPPING OF BIKES AND BIKE GEAR AND ANY USE OR ATTEMPTED USE OF OUR SERVICES FOR NON-BIKE RELATED ITEMS (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION COMPUTERS, AUTO PARTS, PERSONAL OR BUSINESS PACKAGES, VALUABLES, ETC.) (collectively, “PROHIBITED ITEMS”) IS EXPRESSLY PROHIBITED. FAILURE TO ABIDE BY OUR SHIPPING POLICIES AND RESTRICTIONS MAY RESULT IN OUR IMPOSITION OF ADDITIONAL FEES, FINES, SURCHARGES OR OTHER ASSESSMENTS, SUSPENSION OF YOUR ACCOUNT AND/OR OTHER CONSEQUENCES AS DETERMINED BY BIKEFLIGHTS.COM IN ITS SOLE DISCRETION. We are not liable for refusal of, delay of, loss of or damage to a shipment of any Prohibited Item and you agree to indemnify BikeFlights.com for any and all costs, fees and expenses BikeFlights.com incurs as a result of any violation of any local, state, federal, national or international laws or regulations, violation of any terms and conditions of our partner carriers or from tendering any Prohibited Item for shipment."

I could not find rules on the ShipBike website stating that only bikes and bike gear must be shipped through them. I wonder what would happen if for example, I sell a large, expensive antique item and FedEx loses it or the item gets broken? I wonder if ShipBikes would pay a claim out even if I paid for their insurance, but they find out I did not ship a bike.

How long have you used this service? Are you sure it is safe for me to use it to ship non-bike items? I am worried that my item will get lost and broken and they they don't cover it because I may have broken their rules. Thanks in advance for your reply. I really appreciate it.
