Yes! Also new to me -- I was a bit puzzled by the chip which showed the body of the plate and it doesn't look like earthenware, but the glaze definitely looked like tin glaze. Lovely find!

 

Thank you @kentworld @Ce BCA @Any Jewelry - it is a really interesting find and I think quite rare, so I am chuffed with it. I knew it wasn't a normal thing, and was pretty sure porcelain, but really needed the insistence from all comers that it was tin glaze to be led to the right direction - you were all right on that one! Anyway very glad to have an ID and couldn't have done it without you !
