hi everyone. i just found this. i've had good luck in the past with Holt-Howard pieces and i thought this might be worth a few bucks. it stands about 7 inches in height. the overall design is reminiscent of Legardo Tackett's condom holders of the late 50s and early 60s. what is interesting is, if you look at other examples of Holt-Howard's various marks, they all include a circle C for copyrighting purposes. also, the ink they use is mostly black. based on my own preliminary research from what i can find online, Holt-Howard began in 1949. i'm wondering if this is some extremely early piece. it definitely doesn't look like any other Holt-Howard pieces i can find online. it's not so much "cute" as it is "modern." it also has something of a studio look to it, although i don't know if the mosaic element is original or not. Holt-Howard collectors can be rabid. i'm hoping this is some one-of-a-kind gem that's worth thousands, but, of course, i'll settle for less. any help with figuring out when this might have been made or what this line was called will be greatly appreciated...thanks
