    It is indeed, quirky. And thank you for that. I have just learned I can get it tested properly closer to home, in Hamburg. Will do that tomorrow.

    I took it to Muller's Rare Coins and Fine Jewelry. They too said 14K. I'm thinking I should end the listing early and re-list it, scheduled for Monday...
