Hello everyone! I just bought a set of spoons like these as well! Kind of a crazy coincidence I think. I was researching their provenance when I came across the earlier thread about spoons like these and was just pointed in this direction as well :) During my research I found that the spoons look similar to spoons made at the turn of the century by a German fella named Bruckmann - though not identical to his. Funny thing is though.. dun dun dun... I bought my spoons in Denmark as well. Maybe they are old Danish spoons where the design was "inspired by" Bruckmann. I haven't received them in the mail yet, but they will be here in the next couple of days, and I'll make sure to check for any kind of markings on my set and post some pictures. My set consists of six tea/coffee spoons, with a very ornate back of the bowl (I've never seen that before) and a cherub face and a coronet, they are silver plate or silver and gilded and are in their original silk lined box. No tongs in my set. - Kathrine
